Tim represents a wide range of employers, from small start up companies to large multinationals. Having specialized in labour and employment law for over a decade, Tim has extensive knowledge of the issues facing federally and provincially regulated employers.
Tim has successfully represented unionized employers in the full spectrum of labour issues, from certification and first agreement collective bargaining to strikes, picketing issues, contract administration, grievance arbitration, unfair labour practice complaints and revocation applications. On the non-union side, Tim regularly provides counsel to Employers regarding discipline issues, policy and employment agreements, workplace human rights issues and culpable and non-culpable absenteeism issues.

Tim has appeared or represented employers at all levels of the provincial and federal courts. Tim regularly appears before the Alberta Labour Relations Board and at Boards of Arbitration. Tim also frequently represents employers at other administrative tribunals including the WCB Appeals Commission and in matters involving the Human Rights Commission. Tim is a regular lecturer at courses and seminars on employment and labour law, including leading issues such as drug and alcohol testing, work place human rights and privacy issues. Tim also provides a regular column for the Canadian Employment Law Today Magazine providing practical answers and guidance to questions submitted by employers. From 2001 to 2003, Tim Co-Chaired the Calgary chapter of the Canadian Bar Association Labour and Employment Law sub-section.
Tim is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1996.
Tim has been recognized by the Canadian Human Resources Reporter as one of Canada's top employment lawyers.
